Description 

The front face of these coins was inspired both by traditional Islamic geometric design and the essence of “messages of peace in water” which is a natural metaphysical phenomenon first discovered by Dr Masaru Emoto.

The links that circulate the coin, encapsulates the ideology of people who live by their individual beliefs (represented by the curved roof shape of each house of worship) sharing the world in peace and harmony despite their diversity.

The central design carries the Arabic phrase “Peace Be Upon You’ which is a prerequisite in all dirhams. This centre piece is balanced with the minting date of the coins (2011) in Arabic.

 The rear face design is left pure and uncluttered for the bearer of the coin to appreciate the rare clarity and proof-like finish that contrasts with the superb intricate geometric design of the front face.

This face which carries the numeral ‘10’ dirham, is rendered with the Crescent Moon & Rising Star which has grown to be an accepted symbolism of Islam.

The words “1 WORLD - May Peace Be Upon This Planet” written in bold English language is an artistic bridge that spans the language divide to allow the non-Arabic speaking populace to capture the essence of this important message. The idea of placing these positively powerful words is done with the hope that it shall be passed on from one human being to another every time these coins change hands globally.
